The Convent of St. Anthony holds a century of past life of the torrachese people .
Thanks to the kindness of Mrs. Michelina Mercadante , the sisters manage to open a kindergarten for children Torraca.
In 1918 the building was purchased by Mother Mirada founder of the order.
In 1992, following an earthquake the building is declared uninhabitable.
With the commitment of the municipal administration and the dedication of the nuns, the Convent was completely renovated in the traditional local architecture.
